The Roommate is an NPC character that can be bought for free using The Interwebs. He pays you rent each day, which starts at $50 and eventually caps at $204,800 until you get Roommate's Inheritance, capping it at 1 billion.
Appearance[]
The Roommate takes on a classic Roblox "noob" appearance. If the "Drip" gamepass is bought, he has a trendy "By any means necessary" jacket, a supreme shirt, and black pants. He is located inside the House, sitting on the couch in front of the television. He has an interactive bubble above his head, which is white with a blue sidebar and consists of a question mark symbol.
Purpose and Use[]
The Roommate's purpose is to give you rent each day to contribute to your balance and pay for their housing. The Roommate, when interacted with, is able to respond to one of three interactions, "How much is your rent?", "I'm raising your rent!" and "Give me rent!". If a player wishes to ask more than one question, they must invoke the interaction multiple times.
How much is your rent?[]
The Roommate will respond to the player with their rent amount, like so:
"My rent is [amount]"
I'm raising your rent[]
There are three possible responses to this interaction depending on if the day's rent has been collected and the current rent amount.
"I can't afford it rn, maybe later"
The player will receive this response if they have not yet collected the day's rent or if they have already asked this question on the day they are asking. They will also receive this response if their Floppa is age 0.
"Fair enough, I'll double the rent"
The player will receive this response if they have already collected the daily day's rent and it is the first time they've asked today. This results in the current rent being doubled, which will be in effect from the next day onwards. This response can only be received once a day. there is a glitch that allows you to skip days by asking for the rent, raising the rent, and then pick up the money.
"No more raising the rent, I'm going broke!"
The player will receive this response the same as answer 1, however it is only when the rent is maxed out.
Give me rent![]
There are two possible responses to this interaction depending on if the day's rent has already been collected.
"Alright."
When this response is invoked, a money bag will appear on the ground in front of the player. When touched, it will add the rent amount to the player's balance. The player will receive this response if they have not yet collected the day's rent. This response can only be received once a day.
"Rents not due till tomorrow"
The player will receive this response if they have already collected the day's rent. They will also receive this response if their Floppa is age 0.

- The shop icon for the Roommate features the character Mr. Ditkovitch from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films.
- The player saying "Give me rent!" is a reference to Mr. Ditkovitch saying give me rent.
- Landlord collect rents of the roommate every in-game mornings.
